Description

If you want to start and get good at moving people, then this is the course for you. Designed to help you understand driving motion in one joint, while protecting another joint or area. Our Functional Therapy students often start here and then go on to see the full course. However it is also a good place for our performance students to brush up on injuries.

This course is split in to four components, where the emphasis is on building the skills you need to create motion in one area, while preventing motion in others. The first component shows you how the FASTER thought process works in situations where you are with a client who has a diagnosed injury. The second and third parts of the course are focussed on an injury for the lower body and an injury for the upper body. You are taken through building motions through the joints, and then through how to build techniques that can keep performance in the uninjured joints while protecting the injured area. The final module is a review of how to build a program, using the FASTER Napkin training card.
