Dr. Tom Hyde, DC, DACBSP, CKTP
Dr. Tom Hyde
Dr. Thomas Hyde, DC, DACBSP graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1977. He became the chiropractic consultant for the Miami Dolphins from 1990 through 1997. He also attended a 2 weeks sports medicine internship at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO in 1986 and served as the US chiropractor to the Pan American Games in 1987. Dr. Hyde served on the first RAND multidisciplinary panel on Low Back Pain, served as one of 35 on the Mercy Document and the CCGPP soft tissue section. He has traveled all over the US and many countries teaching treatment of athletic injuries and soft tissue injuries. He recently completed the second edition of Conservative Management of Sports Injuries published by Jones and Bartlett with his co-editor and co-contributor, Marianne Gengenbach. After sustaining a career ending injury in 1996, Dr. Hyde now spends his time lecturing and teaching. Currently, he has served on many Boards including the American Chiropractic Assn, Council on Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness. He also served on Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports in Florida. In 2009, Dynamic Chiropractic chose him as their, “Person of the Year.” Dr. Hyde is the co-developer of FAKTR with Dr. Greg Doerr. He has his Diplomate in Sports Injuries and his International Sports Science Diploma. In 2009, he was awarded an Honorary member of the Royal Canadian Chiropractic Sports Science organization. His hobbies are hiking, mountain climbing, wildlife and outdoor photography and traveling with his wife.

Peter Graduated from Sydney University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Physiology. Peter then went on to complete a Masters in Chiropractic from Macquarie University in 1996 and a further Masters Degree in Chiropractic Sports Science from Macquarie University in 2000. In 2007 Peter was awarded his International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma.

Dr. Henry Pollard
Dr. Henry Pollard
BSc, Grad DC, MSportSc, PhD, ICSSD, FICC, FACC, FCC is a practicing sports chiropractor and clinical scientist based in Sydney,
Australia. He is owner and director of a chiropractic clinic located in the Southern Sydney suburbs of Cronulla. Prof Pollard has been in
private clinical practice for the last 25 years, is an Independent Chiropractic Consultant for WorkCover Authority of NSW has taught
for 23 years in the areas of orthopaedics, sport medicine, clinical management and research at Macquarie University. In 2010 he left
Macquarie and took up employment with the Australian Catholic University teaching in the Department of Sport Science in the
Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology. He currently holds adjunct professorial positions at Murdoch University and in the Dept. of
Medicine at University of Notre Dame (Sydney). He has presented at numerous conferences nationally and internationally in the fields
of Chiropractic, Sports Medicine and Research and has published 120 manuscripts in medical and chiropractic peer reviewed journals.
His research interests involve the validation of chiropractic practice through the investigation and documentation of clinical outcomes.
His research interests include: sports medicine, clinical & sports chiropractic, epidemiology of injury, rehabilitation and psychosocial
factors in chronic pain. He currently has had 5 PhD and 2 MSc completions and expects more in the next year. Additionally, he has
helped raise over $1 million dollars for chiropractic research
